carantim caru-darsanam
Translation:
After the two Krsnas bathed there, they drank the river’s clear water. The great warriors then saw an attractive young girl walking nearby.

tam asadya vararoham
su-dvijam rucirananam
papraccha presitah sakhya
phalgunah pramadottamam
Translation:
Sent by his friend, Arjuna approached the exceptional young woman, who possessed beautiful hips, fine teeth and a lovely face, and inquired from her as follows.
Purport:
Krsna wanted Arjuna to see the deep devotion of this girl, and thus He urged him to make the initial inquiries.
